How to Buy

Step 1: One simple phone call

A few minutes on the phone with us (preferably with a computer in front of you) is all you need to determine whether solar might be a good choice for your home. If it is, invite us over for a visit!

Step 2: We’ll evaluate your home

We’ll measure your roof, verify it’s direction and pitch, check your electrical panel efficiency, and a few other factors to confirm that your house is optimal for solar. This takes about an hour. Then we’ll develop an estimate for the panels and installation and go over your rebates, tax credits, and anticipated monthly energy savings.

Step 3: We do the paperwork

This is one part of solar installation that can be a little overwhelming, but we’ve got it down. American Vision Solar will handle the multiple layers of paperwork, from building permit applications to energy credit tax forms, making sure you earn your discounts and incentives that can cut your costs in half.

Step 4: Your solar panels are installed

In as little as two weeks (and as long as two months), we will be able to install your solar panels. The waiting time is worth it, though, because the paperwork and approval process among your utility company, the California Solar Initiative, and your local city energy credit programs, is what saves you so much money. Good news – once we get the green light, the actual installation only takes a couple of days!

Step 5: You start saving Money

Your utility company will confirm that it’s okay to turn on your system, and then you start watching your meter spin backward. Open up your first new utility bill and smile, really big. Repeat.
